The Pritchett-Wilson Group was incorporated in 1983, the year the compact fluorescent lamp was introduced in North America. The small lamp size offered an opportunity to design a new compact task light to overcome the main problem caused by under-shelf, long-tube fluorescent task lights ...reflected glare on the desk right where you read and write.

The solution is simple ...place a compact task light to the side of the work-space and direct the light across the task using a patented rotatable reflector that lets the user direct light where it is needed. This provides a glare-free zone in front and results in less eye strain. The added bonus is a reduced energy bill.
